He was predeceased by : his parents, William Dalton and Mary Dalton (Barr). He is survived by : his wife Barbara Dalton of Marshfield; his daughters, Hilary Easter (William) of Middleboro and Kerin Thrasher (Dean) of Lakeville; his stepchildren, Laurie Guthrie (Michael) of Stow, Christopher Welch (Kristen) of Plymouth and Jennifer Diauto (Anthony) of Pembroke; his grandchildren, Dean, Jr., Matthew, Olivia, Brett, Brenda, Aaron, Samantha, Maddie, Zach, Joey, Grace, Michael and Thomas; his great grandchildren, Braedon, Raegan, Millie and Julian; and his siblings, Willie, Jimmy, Bob, Danny, Tommy and Cathy. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

A celebration of life was held on Sunday, April 28th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Marshfield Elks (1321 Ocean St, Marshfield, MA 02050).
