He is survived by: his siblings, Robert Mulligan of Bourne and Susan Webster of Mansfield; his wife Lori Mulligan of Marshfield; his children, Mary-Ann Clark (Joseph) of Marshfield, Michael Mulligan Jr. (Chelsea) of Burlington, CT, Stephen Mulligan (Jennifer) of Marshfield, Sarah Ritchie (Conner) of Gorham, ME and Kathleen Mulligan (Kieran Ahern) of North Haven, CT.; and his grandchildren, Joseph Clark, Luke Richardson, Hannah Clark, Keegan Tate, Owen Ritchie, Finley Mulligan, Jake Mulligan, Evelynn Ritchie, Henry Mulligan, Charlie Mulligan and Lillian Ritchie.
