She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles EJ McCarty and Rose Clark McCarthy; and her husband William Maurice O'Brien. She is survived by: her children, Sean O'Brien, Coleen Whitehead (Mark), Colin O'Brien and Erin O'Brien Schwartz (Benjamin Dear); her siblings, Mark McCarthy (Kathleen), Stephen McCarthy (Tina), Veronica Dearden, Teresa Flaherty (Robert) and Chris McCarthy (AnnaMaria); and her grandchildren, Tyler O'Brien, Dylan O'Brien, MJ Whitehead and Aedan Whitehead.
A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Bernard Parish (1523 Washington St, West Newton, MA 02465). A burial will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 at the Saint Mary's Cemetery (57 Wellesley Ave, Needham, MA 02494).
