With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Peter L. Appleby of Marshfield, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 28, 2025 at the age of 82. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Peter L. Appleby to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his daughter Amanda Appleby; his parents, John T. Appleby and Alice Appleby (Coles); and his sister Joyce Appleby Bennett. He is survived by: his wife Betsy V. Appleby (Ebinger); his children, Mark Appleby (Michelle) of Cohasset, Marcia McDonald (Peter) of Needham, Rebecca Shumbata (Joseph) of Hingham, Miranda Berrada (Michael) of Norwell and Lucy Theriault (Sean) of Duxbury; his grandchildren, Ian, Justin Appleby, Isabelle, Grace, Annie McDonald, Ruby Shumbata, Tessa, Sarah Berrada, Quinn and Zoey Theriault; and his niece Samantha Stevens of Wales.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Marshfield Country Club (515 Moraine St, Marshfield, MA 02050).
In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation can be made to Goodwill Hunters.
