He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parent Jamaica Plain; his close friends, Gene and Johnny Hunt; his grandchildren, Sarah and John Deere; his wife Mildred E. Kerrigan (Fahey); his children, Michael Kerrigan (Mary) of Hingham, Sean Kerrigan (Emily) of Cohasset, Christine Kerrigan of Montreal, Canada, Sarah, Molly, Clare, Maeve, Wynne, Elle and Grant; and his siblings, Paul Kerrigan of Key West, FL, Patricia Day of Sandwich, MA, Peggy McSweeney of Waltham, MA and Brian Kerrigan of Port St. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Anthony's Church (10 Summer St, Cohasset, MA 02025). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Hatherly Country Club (663 Hatherly Rd, Scituate, MA 02066).
He would only ask that you dress respectfully for Mass. Second, in lieu of flowers, Boppy would have wanted you to do what mattered most to him: give the people you love an extra hug and take a walk somewhere beautiful.
