He was predeceased by: his significant other Barbara A. Batts (Feroli); his daughter Kristin DeYoung (late Kenneth) of Dorchester; his brothers, Charles and Paul Batts; and his parents, Charles Batts and Dora Batts (O'Connell).
He is survived by: his children, Carolyn (Michael Devine) of Marshfield and Rick (Vicky Batts) of Old Lyme, CT; his grandchildren, Samantha Black (Anthony), Michaela Devine, Matthew Batts and Alexandra Batts; his great grandchildren, Sophie, Bennett and Brady; and his siblings-in-law, Carole Demers and James Feroli. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
