He was predeceased by: his wife Kathleen W. Kirkaldy (Whitley); and his parents, Robert B. Kirkaldy and Audrey Brinson (Bigelow). He is survived by: his sons, Robert Kirkaldy of Brant Rock and Thomas Kirkaldy (Barbara) of Lexington; his grandchildren, Cailyn Kirkaldy of Lexington and Aiden Kirkaldy of Salisbury; and his brother Gary Brinson of Michigan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
