It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Therese Nugent of Mashpee, Massachusetts, born in Brockton, Massachusetts, who passed away on January 13, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Tyrrell and Mary Jane Tyrrell (Kenney); her husband Robert E. Nugent, Jr.; and her siblings, Marjorie Burke and William Tyrrell.
She is survived by: her daughters, Ann T. O'Neil (Kevin) of North Falmouth, MA and Janet F. Sherman (Jeffrey) of Marathon, FL; her grandchildren, Caitlin T. O'Neil, Lauren T. O'Neil, Conor N. Sherman and Corey F. Sherman; and her siblings, Charles Tyrrell of Manilus, NY and Marian O'Brien of East Bridgewater, MA. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
