He was predeceased by: his parents, Joan B. Mead (Rubel) and Raymond G. Mead; and his sister Kim Mead. He is survived by: his wife Janice M. Mead (Polvinen); his children, Jennifer (Melanie) of Fairhaven, Todd (Jenny) of Longmont, CO and Jesse (Rebecca) of Portland, Maine.; his grandchildren, Adam, Jolie Misiaszek, Oden, Owen, Ziggy and Ella Mead; his sister Lee Rivers of Portsmouth, RI; and his siblings-in-law, Karen, Julie, Laura Polvinen, Lisa Perry, Richard, Eino Polvinen and Craig Perry. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and countless close friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Farley Funeral Home (358 Park St, Stoughton, MA 02072). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Immaculate Conception Church (122 Canton St, Stoughton, MA 02072).
