George Wayne Belleau Obituary

We announce the death of George Wayne Belleau of Mashpee, Massachusetts, who passed away on August 27, 2026, at the age of 85. George will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. George will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew George will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture his life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. George’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Pauline Belleau (Sewall) and George L. Belleau; his wife R. Elaine Belleau (Knowles); his children, Suzanne Martin of Plano, TX and Wayne M. Belleau of Somersworth, NH.; his granddaughters, Emily Belleau and Kara Martin; and his siblings, Sandy Walor, Judy Marzerka and David Belleau.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 12:45 PM at the Massachusetts National Cemetery.
