He was predeceased by: his parents, James P. FitzGerald, Sr. and Anne FitzGerald (Claffey). He is survived by: his wife Judith FitzGerald (Philipp) of Mashpee, MA; his son James P. FitzGerald III of New Bedford, MA; and his sisters, Beth Leino of Savannah, GA and Kathleen Volkening of Elgin, IL. He is also survived by 12 nieces and nephews.
