It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Maryanne Ward of Mashpee, Massachusetts, born in Worcester, Massachusetts, who passed away on April 25, 2024, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Maryanne departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Maryanne. Though Maryanne may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Vincent Walsh and Ann Walsh (Pats); and her sister Susan Jakubowski. She is survived by : her husband Terrance "Terry" M. Ward; her children, Julianna J. Ward of Washington, D. C. and Terrance M. Ward; and also, Jack and Jenny.

Visitation was held on Thursday, May 2nd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin (131 Main St, Franklin, MA 02038). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, May 3rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Church (1 Church Square, Franklin, MA 02038).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
