Russell Otto Lyman Obituary

Russell sr. Was born in Brockton MA June 25th 1956 to the late Otto Fabian Lyman and Joyce Elizabeth Lyman (colburn). He departed this life november 9th 2025 at the age of 69 at his home in mashpee. He graduated Holbrook high school and Blue Hills regional technical school. He spent time in Maine, Plymouth, Weymouth, Brockton, and Mashpee. He worked many years for Johnny West Tree service as a tree surgeon. Russ, Roscoe, had many friends and for many years was a member of the Avon fish and game ward. He enjoyed helping people and listened to many stories. He enjoyed fishing every chance he got, whether he was on a boat on the ocean, or drilling holes in the ice, he loved nature and the outdoors. He loved watching his Nascar races and even enjoyed building race cars. In later years he spent hours watching the flying squirrels or taking the dog for a golf cart ride. He started gardening and grew beautiful tomato plants, or ypu could find him sitting by the campfire.. he was a loving father survived by his 3 children, Dawn Marie Lyman 39 of sumter, Russell Otto Lyman jr. 36 of sumter SC and Joyce Elizabeth Lyman 31 of MA. He also leaves behind a brother Neal Lyman (wife Diana Lyman) of fayetteville NC as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He is being cremated and a celebration of life is going to be planned around June 2026, around his birthday. More details to come
