He was predeceased by: his wife Eleanor "Bunny" Lyons (Hinchey); his parents, John Lyons and Mary Lyons (Keene); and his brother John (late Pauline Smith) of Braintree. He is survived by: his children, William II (Lisa) of Forestdale, Lisa of Amesbury, Jeffrey (Patrice) of Savannah, GA, Susan (John) of Mashpee and Kevin (Judy) of Barnstable; his sister Janet of Milton; his grandchildren, Benjamin, William III, Colleen, Mollie, Meaghan, Morgan, Hannah, Samuel, Emma, Brendan, Maggie, Leah and Jacob; his great grandchildren, Luke, Jane, Mia, Natalie, Samuel, Leo and Eleanor; his sister Susan (John); and his nieces and nephews, Brendan, Maggie and Boompa. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
