She was predeceased by: her parents, Mattie Lee Drummond and Archie Simmons; and her sister Rachel Hart. She is survived by: her children, Tammie Simmons, Larrice Floyd, Larry Floyd and Eric Floyd; her grandchildren, Johnnie, Johnesha, Lauquan, Desmond, Andreana, Jahliel, Jahtajia, Jahtaira, Jahvell, Promise, Eric Jr., Blue, Marquise and Cheryl; her siblings, Archie Simmons Jr., Robert Simmons, Nate Simmons, Kenneth Simmons, Bradley Fuller, Evelyn Atkins, Brenda Simmons and Amelia Simmons; and her extended family, Nicole Kennerly and Tiaisha Austin. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the George Lopes Funeral Home (821 Cummins Hwy, Mattapan, MA 02126). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Fair View Cemetery (45 Fairview Ave, Boston, MA 02136).
