He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline Lawton; and his children, James Lawton (Renee), Leon Lawton Jr., Tracy Lawton-Jones (Herbert Jr.) and Rhoda Lawton (Peter). He is also survived by 2 great-grandchildren, 11 grandchild, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
