He was predeceased by: his parents, Ferdinando Ruta and Teresa Ruta (Bernardi); and his siblings, Dominic, Angela, Helen, Thomas and Joseph.
He is survived by: his brother Frank Ruta. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, August 26th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Massachusetts National Cemetery.
