He was predeceased by: his parents, George E. Crowell D. M. D and Mildred Crowell (Hovey); his brother Douglas E. Crowell; and his brother-in-law Allen Brown. He is survived by: his children, Ryan S. Crowell of Maynard, MA and Jessica G. Jarmulowicz (Robert M. Jarmulowicz III) of Maynard, MA; his grandchildren, Robby IV, Juliette and Logan; his sister Sheri Brown of Wells, ME; his niece Nici Lamoreaux Roubo of Wells, ME; and his former wife Jean Garlisi (Gail Jewell).

Gifts in his memory may be made to the Republican Party.
