He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Sullivan and Kathleen Sullivan (Binneresley); his wife Debbie; his daughter Kelly A. Sullivan; and his brother Robert Sullivan.

He is survived by: his children, Stacy L. Motyka (Joseph) of Framingham, Jason G. Sullivan (Heidi) of Westford and Katelyn Caissie (Victor) of Framingham; his grandchildren, Joseph, Alyssa, Matthew Motyka, Chloe, Patrick Sullivan, Dylan and Amelia Caissie; his siblings, Francis L. Sullivan, Jr. of Newton, Kathleen Sullivan Langley of Waltham, Margaret Robinson of Maynard, Karen Dermarderosian (Mark) of Marlborough, Anna M. Ferguson (Gary) of Auburn, Michael K Sullivan (Maria) of Quincy and Christine O'Connor of Franklin; and his sister-in-law Nancy Sullivan of Newton. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
