With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary McCarthy of Maynard, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 21, 2026 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her spouse Bonnie Winokar of Chelsea, MA.; her parents, Charles Gorman and Eleanore Gorman (Quinn) of Medford, MA.; and her husband Leonard McCarthy. She is survived by: her children, Patricia McCarthy (David Boundy), Michael McCarthy (Daphne Minner) and Brian McCarthy (Tessa Kale); her granddaughters, Isabelle Boundy (Kevin Staples), Sarah Elizabeth Boundy and Madeline Boundy; her brother Paul Gorman (Sue); her sister-in-law Kathleen Gorman (late James); and her nephew Marshall Stevenson (Eden Morris). She is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
