He was predeceased by: his parents, Theo Kantrowitz and Dinah Kantrowitz (Kotick). He is survived by: his wife Anne Kirby; his sons, Gregory and William; his grandchildren, Jack, Ava and Jameson; and his siblings, Marc (Marianne) and Sue (Mark). He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Later in his career, he developed a reputation for being the doctor to handle only the most complex cases, including long Covid.
