With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Edelyne Degand of Medford, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 9, 2025 at the age of 52. She was predeceased by: her parents, Marie Lucienne Gelin and Paul Elie Normil; and her siblings, Jean Ernest Normil, Mackenson Normil, Jean Eddy Normil, Stephanie Normil and Yves Normil.
She is survived by: her spouse Frantzeau; her children, Eden, Leyla, Keren and Jeremiah; her siblings, Nixon Normil, Marie Judith Normil Victor, Julio Damas, Maudeline Normil and Jardine Normil; her aunts and uncles, Andre Normil, Marie Claudette Gelin and Cleante Normil; her siblings' children, Kristelle, Jephthe, Nephtalie, Jane Lydie, Naika Maya, Leyla, Shant and Junior; and her cousins, Lesly, Nicole, Kettia, Carmelle, Rita, Junior, Jean Carole, Rosemond, Sandra and Minouche.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 7:30 AM to 9:00 PM at the Holy Bible Baptist Church (64 College Ave, Somerville, MA 02144). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Oak Grove Cemetery (230 Playstead Rd, Medford, MA 02155).
