The passing of Eleanor Dunn of Medford, Massachusetts leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on June 7, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert and Helen Dunn of St. John's; and her sister Joan Welch (Bob). She is survived by: her nieces, Ellyn Welch Carrabis (Pat) of Saugus, Kathy Welch of Malden and Dianne Welch McDonough (Scott); her sisters, Eileen Welch DiSisto (Bill) of Middleton and Tricia Appe of Malden; her nieces and nephews, Jenna, Jared Carrabis, Meghan, Haley McDonough, Dylan and Tyler DiSisto; her cousins, Celine Hubbard, Marie Hunt, Bette Hickey and Paul Molloy; and her godchildren, Paul Molloy, Ellyn Carrabis and Celine Crespi-Hunt.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Breslin Funeral Home (610 Pleasant St, Malden, MA 02148). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Francis of Assisi Church (441 Fellsway W, Medford, MA 02155). Eleanor worked for the phone company for many years and upon retiring she went to work in the parish rectory for Immaculate Conception Parish in Revere where she remained until the Covid pandemic.
