He was predeceased by : his parents, Peter Scapicchio and Maria Rosa Scapicchio (Iascone); his wife Josette Scapicchio (Kaladjian); and his siblings, Connie, Angelo, Dorothy, Robert (Florence), Mary McCann (late Jack) and Peter Jr..

He is survived by : his daughter Maria Rose Cappucci (Robert) of Medford; his grandchildren, Robert M. Cappucci, Jr., Jimmy A. Cappucci and Victoria Josette Cappucci; his siblings, Lydia Nuzzo (Edward) of Medford, Sebastian "Sammy" Scapicchio (Dany Quesnel) and Boston; his friend Daveen Baliero; and his close friend Ronnie Mustone. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Dello Russo Funeral Home (306 Main St, Medford, MA 02155). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the St. Francis of Assisi Church (441 Fellsway W, Medford, MA 02155).

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Jimmy's name to the charity of one's choice.
