The family announces the passing of Frederick L. Carey of Medford, Massachusetts on October 3, 2026. Frederick, born on February 26, 1936, was part of many shared moments and relationships throughout life. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his brother John Carey; and his parents, John Carey and Gertrude Carey (Farrell). He is survived by: his wife Patricia Carey (Hagan); his daughters, Kathy Carey (Neeco), Nancy Marotta (Jason), Patricia Smyers (Brian), Theresa Carey and Bridget Carey; and his grandchildren, Rachael, Jack and Ben. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Carr Funeral Home (220 Bunker Hill St, Charlestown, MA 02129). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Church (55 Warren St, Boston, MA 02129).
