He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Flaherty and Sarah Flaherty (Barrett); his grandchild Nate Davis; and his parents-in-law, Jim and Ann Boyden.
He is survived by: his wife Patty Flaherty (Boyden); his daughters, Tricia Flaherty and Kate Doyle; his granddaughter Cindy Davis; his great grandchildren, Kaiden, Autumn and Willow; his sisters, Ann Richardson and Peggy Brisson; and his sister-in-law Ann Norton. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
