He was predeceased by: his sister Elinor; his brother-in-law Kevin Thomas; and his parents, Elizabeth Schofield (Canniff) and Anthony L. Schofield. He is survived by: his wife Joan Schofield (Breslin); his son Leo A. "Chip" Schofield Jr. of Revere; his grandchildren, Leo A. Schofield III of Dedham, Brendan K. Schofield of Dedham, Aidan J. Schofield of Dedham and Siobhan M. Schofield of Dedham; his daughter-in-law Brenda K. Schofield of Dedham; and his in-laws, Marguerite E., John M. Lynch of Winchester, Sister Evelyn Breslin, Rochester and J. William Breslin of Rockport. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, as well as cousins and friends.
