We are sad to announce that on October 4, 2025, Marcell S. Strain Jr. of Medford, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alice Josephine Strain (Shields) of Winchester, VA and Marcell S. Strain, Sr. of New Orleans, LA.. He is survived by: his spouse Lovita Strain (Bazar); his children, Tamika Miles (Stephon) of Monroe, NC, Marcell P. Strain (Melanie) of San Francisco, CA and Kamille Conceicao (Mark) of Billerica, MA.; his grandchildren, Sanaya, Alon Miles, Amelia, Madeline, Winston Strain, Kallie and Mason Conceicao; and his brother Michael D. Strain of Riverside, California.. He is also survived by sister-in-law, many cherished nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Dello Russo Funeral Home (306 Main St, Medford, MA 02155). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Marcell's memory may be made to Mount Auburn Hospital or the Mass General Cancer Center, whose compassionate care meant so much to him and his family.
