She was predeceased by: her parents, Anne Green and Joe Green. She is survived by: her husband John H. Burns; her children, Katharine, Brighid, Thomas and Eleanor (Zachary); her grandchildren, Shea, Jackson, Anastasia and Charles; her siblings, Patricia, Mary and James Green; her in-laws, Rose Burns, Andrea and Rick Harman; her nephew Johnathon Harman; and her friend Linda McDonald (Nelson). She is also survived by her grandparents, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A procession will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the George L Doherty Funeral Service (855 Broadway, Somerville, MA 02144). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph Church (118 High St, Medford, MA 02155). A burial will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 11:45 AM at the Holy Cross Cemetery (175 Broadway, Malden, MA 02148).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude's Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
