Mario Romano Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mario Romano of Medford, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 2, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Antonio Romano and Carmela Romano (Santamaria); and his siblings, Carmela Papotto (late Joseph), Nunzio Romano (Gracie) of North Carolina and Salvatore Romano (Hilda) of Plymouth.
He is survived by: his family Mario; his wife Francesca Romano (Turco); his children, Anthony Romano (Tracy) of Stoneham and Sylvia Romano of Haverhill; his grandchildren, Anthony, Alexa, Michael Romano of Stoneham, Ryan Martin and Christian Collins of Haverhill; and his sister Emilia Giordano (Angelo) of Palatine, IL. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 9th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Dello Russo Funeral Home (306 Main St, Medford, MA 02155). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, September 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Raphael Church (512 High St, Medford, MA 02155).
