He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis R. and Mary H. Cronin (Dempsey); and his sibling Francis X. Cronin. He is survived by: his siblings, Maryellen Cronin, Kathleen Murphy, Sean Cronin, Sheila Lippman and Brian Cronin; and his nieces and nephews, Jennifer Cronin, Rebecca Cronin, Conor Lippman and Sean Cronin (Christiana).

Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 6th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Dello Russo Funeral Home (306 Main St, Medford, MA 02155). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, May 6th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Saint Raphael Church (512 High St, Medford, MA 02155).

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Michael's name to Saint Raphael Church, 512 High St, Medford, MA 02155.
