With solemn reverence, we commemorate Stewart J. Anderson of Medford, Massachusetts, whose life came to an end on November 26, 2025 at the age of 94, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy H. Anderson and Eva M. Anderson (Sullivan); his wife Joanne Anderson (Rego); and his siblings, Warren Anderson, William Anderson, Raymond Anderson, Grace Zaccardi, George Anderson and Donald Anderson.
He is survived by: his children, Glen Anderson (Sandra) of Stoneham and Debra McEvoy (Robert) of Medford; his grandchildren, Robert McEvoy, Ryan McEvoy, Kristin Jenkins (Sean) and Nicole Anderson; and his great grandchildren, Vivienne and Eloise. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 7th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the George L. Doherty Funeral Home (855 Broadway, Somerville, MA 02144). A procession was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Oak Grove Cemetery (230 Playstead Rd, Medford, MA 02155).
