We bid farewell to Dorothy M. Charland of Medway, Massachusetts, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 11, 2025 at the age of 92. Dorothy M. touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edmund Charland and Viola Charland (Marsan); and her siblings, May "Pappy" Cassidy, Edmund Charland, Jr. and Elsie MacDonald.
She is survived by: her friend Joann Gannon of Millis; her sister-in-law Joyce Charland of Claremont, MA; and her nieces and nephews, Kathy Sullivan, Ellen Small, Pat Riggs, Joe Cassidy, Jr., Sue Cassidy, Julie Cassidy, Jeanne Gerould, Scott MacDonald, Steve MacDonald, Frank Charland, Paula of Fougerolles and Karen Green.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home (3 Barber St, Medway, MA 02053). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Church (151 Village St, Medway, MA 02053).
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Dottie's memory to the Edmund G. Charland, Sr. Scholarship Fund c/o Medway High School, 88 Summer St., Medway, MA 02053.
