It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Douglas Sabatino of Medway, Massachusetts, who passed away on January 6, 2026, at the age of 40, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his parents, Patti Sabatino and Ralph "Doug" Sabatino of Medway; his sister Emily Burkart (Ryan); his nephew Connor; and his aunts and uncles, John Ferrie (Gail Riina), Josephine Ferrie, Catherine (Bill Doyle), Sue (Bud Makevich), Gail (Norman Jefferson) and Adele (Lee Bittner).
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 15th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Buckler-Johnston Funeral Home (121 Main St, Westerly, RI 02891). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 15th 2026 at 12:15 PM at the Riverbend Cemetery. A burial was held on Thursday, January 15th 2026 at the same location.
