He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Murray and Marguerite Murray (Postell); his son Gabriel Murray; and his siblings, Michael Murray, Eileen Craven and Patrick Murray.

He is survived by: his sons, Bruno Murray of France, Michael Murray of Northbridge and Owen Murray, Jr. (Samantha) of Medway; and his grandsons, Evan and Ryan Murray. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
