He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Higgins and Vera Higgins (Leland); his wife Sandra "Sandy" Higgins (Spinney); and his siblings, Harold Higgins, Jr. and Avis Winters.
He is survived by: his children, Kimberlee Dumas (late Peter) of Franklin, Raymond Curtis Higgins (Susan) of Franklin and Scott Higgins (Stephanie) of West Newbury; his grandchildren, Megan Kantzer (Jake), Michelle Kam (Joshua), Kristen Dumas, Chelsey Gavin (Andrew), Kayla O'Donnell (Patrick), Amelie Higgins and Eliza Higgins; and his great grandchildren, Charlotte, Emma Kam, Miles, Jasper Kantzer, Bo, Molly Gavin and Olive O'Donnell.
Visitation was held on Monday, August 11th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home (4 Park St, Natick, MA 01760). A memorial service was held on Monday, August 11th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
