He was predeceased by: his close friend Louise Donovan; and his siblings, Mary C., Ann Elizabeth, Sarah Theresa, Hector J., Angus A. and Donald Francis.

He is survived by: his siblings, Joan MacDonald, John and Ronald Gregory. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Donations in memory of Hugh may be made to St. Andrew's Parish Cemetery, Judique.
