Ginni McGee wrote a sympathy message

“Please accept my prayers and condolences. I'm so sorry to hear that Joan passed away. She and I were friends at the Winthrop School and we were also in the Lt. Norman Prince Drum & Bugle Corp. together. Joan was always smiling and happy...she always had a way of making people laugh. There is a new angel in Heaven. Again, sincere condolences to her family and friends. RIP, Joan. Best, Ginni McGee Rochester, NH (formerly, Melrose, MA)”
