He was predeceased by: his parents, Sophos Symond and Clara Symond (Kasimatis). He is survived by: his children, Melanie Symond (Tony Regan) of Melrose, Jason Symond (Karen) of Melrose, Sarah Laubinger (Ted) of Hamilton and Jonathan Symond (Maura O'Brien) of Wakefield; his sisters, Louise Sweet (late David) of California and Clara Tahmisian (Ted) of Indiana; and his niece Pamela Tahmisian Buysse (John) of Indiana.
