She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Sprague and Catherine Sprague; her close friend Richard "Dick" Murphy of Melrose; and her siblings, Leo Scales, Daniel Sprague, Joan Schultz (Scales) and Jean Bando (Scales).
She is survived by: her children, William Jr. of Melrose, Kelly Anne of Melrose, Robert (Elizabeth) of Freeport, NY and Kathleen Scales (Jason) of Reading; her grandmother Nani; her friend Kathy Murphy of Melrose; and her brothers, Francis and John Sprague. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and one grandson-in-law.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Gately Funeral Home (79 W Foster St, Melrose, MA 02176). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
