He was predeceased by: his parents, John F. O'Neil Incorporated and Mary E. O'Neil (Maher); and his siblings, Kathleen A. O'Neil and John G. O'Neil. He is survived by: his children, Meaghan J. Corning (Kenneth) of Salem and Mark J. O'Neil (Kristen); his grandchildren, Jack and Tucker of Beverly; and his sisters, Mary O. Angelos (Nicholas) of Andover and Barbara G. Thompson of Melrose. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mark's memory to the American Cancer Society.
