With solemn reverence, we commemorate Mark Joseph O'Neil (Melrose, Massachusetts), whose life came to an end on June 13, 2025 at the age of 72, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John F. O'Neil Incorporated and Mary E. O'Neil (Maher); and his siblings, Kathleen A. O'Neil and John G. O'Neil. He is survived by: his children, Meaghan J. Corning (Kenneth) of Salem and Mark J. O'Neil (Kristen); his grandchildren, Jack and Tucker of Beverly; and his sisters, Mary O. Angelos (Nicholas) of Andover and Barbara G. Thompson of Melrose. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Gately Funeral Home (79 W Foster St, Melrose, MA 02176). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's Church (4 Herbert St, Melrose, MA 02176). A burial will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. Patrick's Cemetery (120 Elm St, Stoneham, MA 02180).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mark's memory to the American Cancer Society.
