It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Bernadette (Fitzpatrick) Cargill of Melrose, Massachusetts, born in Malden, Massachusetts, who passed away on August 18, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by: her husband Peter Cargill Sr.; her children, Peter Jr. (Elizabeth), Shannon (Jason) and Philip Sr. (Nicole); her grandchildren, Colin, Philip Jr., Jack, Kyle, Harper, Claire, Louella and Jeffrey; and her brother Tim Fitzpatrick (Jackie). She is also survived by three brothers and two sisters.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The American Cancer Society.
