We bid farewell to Marylyn Kaye Gear of Melrose, Massachusetts, born in Essex, Massachusetts, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 10, 2025 at the age of 91. Marylyn touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Evelyn Doyle-Bragdon and Chester Standley Bragdon; and her sister Helen Stewart. She is survived by: her children, Thomas Gear, Edward Gear, Nancy Hewitt (Jerome Hewitt) and Kenneth Gear; and her grandchildren, Jeremy Hewitt (Courtney Hewitt), Sarah Hewitt, Rebecca Gear, Edward Gear and Emily Gear. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews; one special great-great-niece; and many dear friends and neighbors.
