She was predeceased by: her parents, John G. Glass and Wilhemina M. Glass (Cargill); her spouse G. "Fred" Hayes; her son Brian F. Hayes; and her great-nephew Jonathan.
She is survived by: her daughter Cheryl A. Hayes of Stoneham; her sibling's children, Lynne Beals (Frank Thomas), Doug Beals (Audrey), Sal Gross (Jim), Alan Beals (Catti) and Glenn Hayes (Michelle); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Leah, Jeff, Sarah, Daniel, Nicholas and Jennifer.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Robinson Funeral Home (809 Main St, Melrose, MA 02176). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 27th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church (645 Main St, Melrose, MA 02176). A burial was held on Monday, October 27th 2025 at the Wyoming Cemetery (205 Sylvan St, Melrose, MA 02176).
