He was predeceased by: his parents, Elena Pepe and Vincent Pepe; and his daughter Kristin. He is survived by: his wife Kathleyne Pepe (Kennedy); his daughters, Lauren and Elena; his son-in-law David; and his sisters, Marie Pepe-Long, Darlene Giardina (James) and Denise Morelli (Louis). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and many lifelong friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Disabled American Veterans, State House, Room 546, Boston, MA 02133. Or to the Parkinson's Foundation.
