We announce the death of Arlene Morton of Mendon, Massachusetts, who passed away on August 12, 2026, at the age of 89. Arlene will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her husband Richard G. "Dick" Morton; her siblings, Louise Hutchinson, Eleanor Giacomelli and Robert Giacomelli; her granddaughter Cara L. Kempton; and her parents, Primo Giacomelli and Gladys Giacomelli (Shannon).
She is survived by: her children, Cheryl A. Kempton of Mendon, Michael Morton (Dianna) of Whitinsville, Dawn Morton-Wolf of Uxbridge and Mark Morton of Mendon; and her niece Deborah Morton Overstreet. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 2 step-grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; several great-great grandchildren.
