He was predeceased by: his parents, Biagio Palumbo and Giulia Palumbo (Rofino); and his siblings, Georgette Chiccarelli of Milford, Anne Manella of Milford, Frances Pratt of Milford and Albert Palumbo of Franklin.

He is survived by: his sister Gloria Marino of Franklin; his daughters, Christina Dias (Joao) of Mendon and Leslie LaFlamme (John) of Mendon; his grandchildren, Ashley Grover (Jay) of Mendon, Alexis Hiser (Kyle) of Douglas and John Dias, Jr.; and his great grandchildren, Tommy, Milo, Quinn and Wyatt.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to St Jude.
