He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Patricia Whitman (Iacovelli); his parents, Benjamin Whitman and Selma Whitman (Norman); his children, Meredith Whitman-Bon Tempo (Carlo Bon Tempo), Melissa Whitman Rickert and Joanne Whitman (Nicholas Valorie III); his stepchildren, David, Eileen Iacovelli, Laura (Iacovelli) and Jason Molfetas; his grandchildren, Emilia, Elena, Carmela Bon Tempo, Bemjamin (Bem), Agostinho Valença (Gus), Kenneth IV (Wil) and Stella Rickert; his stepgrandchildren, Natalie Kerr (Matt Kerr), Michael Iacovelli, Dylan and Ryan Molfetas; and his sibling Drs.

A graveside service was held on Wednesday, August 26th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Moses Mendelsohn Cementery (350 Grove St, West Roxbury, MA 02132). For information about Shiva, please contact the family.
