He is survived by: his wife Nancy Laverty; his children, Elizabeth Laverty, Meredith Winchell and Allison Coates; his stepchildren, Erin O'Keefe and Lauren Kenealy; and his grandchildren, Ella, Lily, Eleanor, Maya, Charlie, Emilia, Noah, Cosette, Aoife, Miles, Iris and Otto.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Immaculate Conception Church (42 Green St, Newburyport, MA 01950). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
