He was predeceased by : his parents, Joseph Aguiar and Maria Aguiar (Melo); his daughter Michelle Aguiar; and his brothers, Jose Manuel Aguiar and Pedro Aguiar.

He is survived by : his significant other Elmira Aguiar (Santos); his children, Marco Aguiar and Patricia Aguiar (Wilfredo Castro); his grandchildren, Marcus Castro, Camron Castro, Precious Leon and Misheylla Leon; and his sisters, Eva Aguiar and Conceicao Aguiar. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
